False, Shaq comes off the books after this season & who knows what will happen before then. We definitely overpaid, but it was imperative we kept him IMO. Without AV, '09-'10 would have been a disaster/waisted season. Dude does more things that DON'T go into the official stat sheet than anyone in the L.Originally Posted by thekillerj23
WOW, my Cavs just took a big L, wow, looks like we really have no chance to go after anybody else in 2010 other than Lebron, Danny Ferry, WTH were you thinking...And I don't wanna hear the flopping jokes...
EDIT: Dudes need to STOP posting he got 60 mill. He got 50 mill for SIX years...
That's already close to $50M. No way the Cavs will get another good free agent to entice LeBron to re-sign unless they dump Mo/Varejao.
Dudes need to stop with this type of thinking. LBJ is either leaving CLE or he's NOT (it's as simple as that). When it eventually comes down to hisdecision, it honestly will have VERY LITTLE to do with what type of FA CLE can land next off-season IMO. Also, your hypothesis is off anyways. How does one $7Mper year contract *##* EVERYTHING up? Say we don't/didn't sign AV. The way you tried to lay things out, we still wouldn't have the space to landsomeone like Bosh anyways...
