Raiders agreed to terms with LB Malcolm Smith, formerly of the Seahawks.

The Super Bowl 48 MVP was ineffective last season, playing just 286 snaps and getting phased out down the stretch. Even on the Raiders, he won't be assured of a starting job, but should have the inside track at weak-side linebacker.

Also, former Buffalo Bills  TE Lee Smith is joining the Raiders on a three-year deal worth over $9 million, sources told ESPN's Adam Caplan.

The four-year veteran has 20 career receptions and three touchdowns.
 
If (big IF) we can Hardy I will be ok with the Williams signing.  FA has been a disappointment so far.
 
The trenches are getting solidified through FA so far and that's all I care about. The big names are nice but we're Oakland. Handle the trenches in FA and draft our skill guys and we're continuing down the right path.
