Notice how the guy in the video holds the thing in the only way possible -- leaning back with his feet together and knees up. People are gonna be bummed when they drop the cash on this thing and realize it's gonna be the most awkward thing to hold/use ever. Can't sit it on a table without having to crane your neck to look straight down at it. What are you gonna do, put it on the ground and squat over it?
Oh yeah, plus it's pretty much useless anyway.

But wait!!! you can buy a desktop dock that allows you to use it like a real computer... except you know, it has the Touch OS and is not a real computer
The actual device has potential, but they'd have to change a lot of things for it to be a game changer. Right now it fits a small niche and I don't really see it catching on with the mainstream public.

Seriously, there isn't anything the iPad has that the Slate and Courier can't do better. The iPad is severely watered down compared to the other two.

the ipad would only make sense as a very seldom used prop on an empty desk in either the living room or kitchen. buy a nice stand for it and whenever you need to check something quickly you can have it on and mess with it a bit.
