Manny Acta signs three-year deal with the Indians.

I am def going to dollar dog night this year, I haven't been to an Indians game since I was 13, that was 7 years ago, it was the game where we were downsomething crazy to the yankees, and we won off a Bill Shelby grand slam home-run, I was like a row or 2 from getting that ball.

Something has to change.

We've given a clinic on how to lose the past 2 days.

Bases loaded ZERO outs, can't get a run in, then following it up in the bottom of the inning give up a leadoff double to a #9 hitter.

And, The bullpen has NOT been managed well.

I've been out of town since Thursday; it looks like I didn't miss much.

The Indians stink. Get rid of everybody except for Shapiro, that includes the owner. Team has too much potential to be this bad. The bullpen is terrible andbeing used terrible.

Brian Tallets wackness is coming up so this is pretty much a guaranteed win for you guys...but tomorrow our #1 pitching prospect Brett Cecil is on the mound.Basically David Price minus 4 mph off his fast fast ball in the 90-93 but features a disgusting slider and a pretty good change.

did anyone else notice those two dudes dressed up as umpires sitting in the first row??

Well, I got part of it right.
CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced they have purchased the contract of RHP Matt Herges from AAA Columbus. To allow room on the Major League roster for Herges, the Indians have optioned LHP Rafael Perez to AAA Columbus. To create room on the 40-man roster for Herges, the Indians released RHP Juan Salas.
Herges, 39, was assigned to AAA Columbus on April 4 and so far this season with the Clippers he is 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA and 4 saves in 11 appearances (10.0IP, 12H, 6R/ER, 5BB, 7K). He was invited to Major League camp this spring after signing a minor league free agent contract in January and posted a mark of 0-0 w/a save and a 5.63 ERA in 8 exhibition outings (8.0IP, 10H, 6R/5ER, 4BB, 9K, .286AVG). Perez made 13 appearances this year for the Indians going 0-1 with a 15.19 ERA (10.2IP, 19H, 18R/ER, 9BB, 5K).
Edit: Laffey will be moved to the bullpen?

Sowers will be called up and put in the rotation.

I'm sure it's not a slight to what he's done as a starter.

Shapiro made good points. He's tough, he throws strikes and he gets outs on the ground. That's definitely what the pen needs right now.

Hopefully, Sowers can come in and contribute. He's been great at Columbus.

Where would we be right now if Vic doesn't fully recover from injury and Asdrubal doesn't drastically improve at the plate?
