let this thread die (NYK)

We're literally in the same spot we were last year in the playoffs. Starting PG out and STAT out.

Now you're telling me we're forced to play Toney Douglas?

Now our hope is Melo getting back to old form putting the whole team on his injured groin?

Might as well start focusing on FAs this off season and next season.

Melo isn't gonna get it done alone..He can win us regular season games if he goes off and drops 30+ on a nightly basis, but a good PG was what this team was missing for months and having Baron on an injured hamstring running the point, this offense is gonna struggle mightily. Lin can penetrate with ease and get to the foul line..He's great at setting up the big men. It's no coincidence that Tyson barely got any shot attempts last night..It's hard for him to score when he's never getting the ball due to lack of penetration by the guards.

Amar'e was playing great ball but knowing that Jared should be back in 2 weeks and that Jorts could play solid defense also, it made things a little easier to swallow. Baron was a great backup PG but as a starter, his body is having a hard time keeping up with the speed of the game.

That's what happens when u drive to the hoop with reckless abandon. Better be the first & last time this happens...

#Knicks announce Jeremy Lin will undergo arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus. He is out six weeks. #fb

Why is this so important? They just had a damn press conference for this. I mean you want them to immediately to talk about Lin is out for the season?

Besides you should've been knew this organization was shady after Isaiah sexually harassing co-workers for a whole season before it goes public. Not a big deal. Lets not forget our owner has specific rules he makes the NY media abide by.

Tom Thibodeau is openly upset with the lack of a competitive contract offer from the Bulls, according to sources.

Those cheap Chicago bastards. Can't blame Thibbs. Knew something was wrong with that org during the Jordan era as far as paying employees goes.

I still doubt he'll come here but he knows, hell we all know Dolan will give him a 60 mil contract if he can have us playing the best defense in the league with the best record.

I'd just like to take time out right now to say one last time, THANK YOU MIKE D'ANTONI.

Thank you for being the most irresponsible coach on the face of the planet as far as managing minutes. Thank you for playing 8-9 guys in a strike shortened season where there were 66 games and basically 4 games a week. Thank you for running Iman Shumpert into the ground early in the year and playing him 45 minutes a night, it's a miracle that he hasn't broken down. Thank you for being so stubborn that it took for YOUR JOB to be on the line until you finally realized there was a kid on the end of the bench who could potentially help. Thank you for being so desperate, that by the time you gave Lin some PT, it was a necessity so you had to ride him like Secretariat. Thank you for not gradually increasing his minutes like any rational coach would have done, after he had spent basically the previous 2 NBA seasons glued to the bench. Thank you for continually playing Melo and Amar'e 40+ minutes a game, up 20, down 20, did it matter to you? Thank you once again for all that you contributed during your tenure.

Sincerely, Ruffrydya08

Now its D'antoni's fault...ok...

But anyway, now we have no PG. Baron is clueless at this stage and has no lift, chucks shots regardless who is hot.

its a big deal

they just wanted to sell and many tickets as possible before it was out

they kept saying day to day when it was obviously BS. They said amare's injury wasnt't serious

novak knew it, so obviously so did the knicks for a while

dolans media policy is half the reason why the papers destroy the knicks. help making us a joke and encouraging players to go elsewhere

you think a top coach like phil jackson wants to work with dolans media policy and his rules?

Marbury's Dad was taken to the hospital during the game and the knicks organization didn't inform marbury! just let him keep playing

just so sick of their antics. it's been a real piece of crap, terrible franchise since the day he bought it and fired grunfeld
