Also, why I think we will trade the pick (Regardless of how stupid it is)... Is because Lakers fans can't handle anything. All this *****ing and complaining will force Jim to trade the pick.. For much less than Kevin Love.
.

You complete me.

I don't want to trade the pick.

I'm actually really excited at the reality that we might land Julius Randle.

If Frank Vogel gets fired by Indiana, I wonder how quickly this poll gets scrapped and restarted? 8o

Vogel, Fisher, Ollie, and Monty are all guys I have shown interest in for our franchise, after Mike D'Antoni.

All 5 of those names >>>>>>>>> Stan Van Gundy, or Byron Scott.

so since the knicks are about to implode, how much higher is the possibility of mashmelo in la la land?

We have a real chance at 5th worst record right? Utah has the same amount of losses as us and we play them in Utah later.

5th Place would guarantee us a good player.

What about this Kyrie Irving speculation, would you guys give up a top 3 draft pick for him upright?

Just want to know what y'all think about that?

GOD DAMN IT.. NO.

If most of us won't trade him for Love.... No ******* way we trade it for Kyrie.

NO TRADING THE PICK... UNLESS IT'S LEBRON... NO NO NO NO NO NO.

NO TRADING THE PICK... UNLESS IT'S LEBRON... NO NO NO NO NO NO.

Or Anthony Davis.

Or Durant

:rollin:rollin:rollin

Take it easy, just seeing what people think.

I'm pretty sure we are keeping the pick, especially if we get it in the top 3.

We'll see how Lakers wrap up the season

No. A stellar rookie on a 4/5 year rookie contract > Kyrie already 4 years into the league about to ask for a max contract.

We just can't afford it, especially if we wanna pursue free agents in 2015.

Keep the pick. Draft a young player and develop him for cheap. He'll be groomed by Kobe and most likely stay with us because 3 years from now if he works hard the franchise will be his.

Season over yet?

Season was over the second Dwight went to Houston and Kobe's Achilles was torn.

There was never gonna be a 2014 season for us. This has always been about moving into the future.

Always.

I don't think Fish would be a good coach, personally. See: Brian Shaw

Would LOVE Vogel, though.

But I agree w/ Essential noting that Love is most definitely a MDA type; not sure he'd fit into a Vogel system very smoothly. Both of them have really good basketball minds, though, so it could work. Just not as smoothly as Love and MDA.

Funny because a few of us saw the "beginning of the end" sooner than were getting credit for.

Ska and I called Dwight to Houston halfway through last season, and said we'd get nothing in return and be screwed the following season.

I remember a certain know it all saying there would be no way he'd leave 30 mill on the table and leave LA. No way, this one man said 8o

If you knew it was over, then why on earth would you resist tanking for the love of all that is Holy? :lol

It just went against everything I believed in as a fan. I was being stubborn. I didn't wanna sit and actively root for losses, my friends have called people who do that fraudulent fans and i didn't wanna be seen that way :lol

But yeah... I guess with only a week to go, it's a good time to go #TeamTank publicly without my fanhood being questioned 8o

And honestly, the moment it turned around for
Me in my head was when I listened to Colin Cowherds podcast when he compared a season of being horrible to moving in with your parents to get your life together. I didn't wanna admit it to anyone or seem like a flip flop, but that analogy struck a cord with me because moving back in with my parents as embarrassing as it was allowed me to get back on my feet and saved my life in many ways. So Colin was the first person to really make me see the benefit of tanking. :lol

Let's get that 5 spot :hat :lol

I got a feeling even if we wait for 2015..were still going to be screwed over somehow

Straight up: just because I don't like it.

He's right, though. We were mocked about how outlandish we were for seeing the writing on the wall about Dwight bailing.

"Trust me", we were told.

"30 million", they said.

I remember likening those "#stay" posters to a dude begging his girl not to leave... when she's already got a foot out the door.

NOTHING... is guaranteed.

"I know he's not going to pass up $30 mil. Y'all really think he's gonna leave $30 mil on the table?!
