I feel it’s fairly certain that Vando will come back.
He’ll be a bit rusty. Have an amazing game or two and then all of sudden pop up on the injury report for a torn dorsal fin

Defense was garbage. Why did they randomly practice zone defense (and get wrecked)?
- Hayes foul rate is mind-boggling.
-Rui tries hard but is a space cadet defensively, doesn't look like it's going to get better.
-"Keep going at Reaves" is a viable offensive strategy, Dinwiddie was the most obviously targeting AR, and it was working

Rui go from sugar to **** on a game to game basis 
Thinking back to the 2020 team, Kuz was primarily in Rui's role. For all his up and downs, he always provided some kind of perimeter defense (Westbrook in the bubble
) and occasionally would hit some shots. But he was a bench player and helped bolster their bench scoring. He ****** up, he went right back to the bench. They haven't had that luxury with Rui to this point.
Rui's not a starting 3. Probably not a starting 4 on a good team either. It's past time to end that experiment. Going to be a tough conversation with JJ to bench him. If they move him they're going to need scoring in return. Tough spot but I think it's doable.

EYE see a team that isn’t made for the playoffs unless the Lakers get rid of:
Rui, JHS, Vando, Reddish, Vincent, Hayes
And add at least:
2 veteran rebounding and paint protecting BIGS - one beefy and one athletic. I’m sick and tired of watching young and inexperienced skinny big men like Damian Jones, Mo Bamba, Hayes, Koloko, who have no clue on positioning inside the paint to grab rebounds and are always getting pushed around by big beefy white boys
and LAL needs one more ball handling and 2-way veteran guard
Otherwise if Pelinka doesn’t make any more moves, you might as well kiss this season goodbye

Granted he’s street clothes but Vando helped us when he was playing. No need to trade unless we get good value.
We definitely need another center and guard. This team is just a couple move away. I just don’t think Pelinka can make them.

Vando would've helped during the road trip with his size and athleticism. I'm sure Pelinka (lol) is holding out hope he can be reliable so he can shop Rui for more reinforcements.

Aye, all of you that live down there in LA, hopefully y'all ok with those fires goin on.
It's no joke. My mom is near an evacuation area and I can't get to her to come get her since the streets are blocked off.
Luckily where she is the winds have calmed down and she told me to go back to Daygo.
I've seen some of the vids. Hopefully the only losses are homes and property.
All of you down there and your families stay safe. Need some sudden rain to try and help out.
