**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Couple of things....

1. They need depth. If they had depth, they could cut back everybody's minutes by a couple. And play with more pace. Team looks great when they play with pace.

2. LeBron as the primary initiator stinks. Not because he's not still great, but he's not by LeBron standards. Sure, can he organize and set it up from time to time. Sure. But, the offense looks so much better when DLo and AR have the ball, he's getting the ball off the initial read, and can easily get into a downhill position, and punish defenses as they collapse on him. It's so significantly better when he gets the ball in a position to shoot or move rather than quarterbacking from 35 feet. His first step just isn't what it used to be to be 30% usage

Cam was not making this many faces last season. He's sticking his tongue out, scrunching his face, looking up to the rafters, etc. :lol

Yeah.... After seeing Rui just get bullied for every rebound...

Yuckkkkkkkk

All that shoulder for nothing

Grizzles playing exceptionally ******

Couldn't happen to a more deserving team.

Also my guess is the 3rd quarter will be a **** show for the Lakers.

This quarter feels like watching all 3 Godfather's back to back. Sun is about to come up again

AD goes out. 16-5.

Also enough with Gabe Vincent running any plays.

Someone call Brad Pitt to come trade Gabe so JJ won't play him anymore.

I know they lack defenders.

But the team would be a noticeably bit better if Cam Reddish and Gabe Vincent did not get played as much as they do.

JJ benched D'Lo, Knecht and Gabe after that putrid third.

Max locked up Ja. :hat

Next game won't be until Thursday vs the Kings. I'm not saying a trade will/should happen now, but probably no better time than now.

Alright...
- JJ Reddit is a n00b.
- Bron is 87 years old.
- Jeanie is... not Jerry. At aaallll. Got lucky with Bron/AD in 2020.

So there are 3 hypothetical statements below: A, B, & C.
Rank them in terms of MOST likely to LEAST likely, in your opinion (obviously).

A: JJ Reddit wins a championship as a Lakers HC during his current tenure.
If you think that it's possible for him to leave the Lakers and then go somewhere else in the league and win a championship, then you do NOT think that Option A is likely.
If you think that he could end his CURRENT tenure as Lakers HC with no chip and then maybe come back in the FUTURE as a coach and we win a chip with him, then you do NOT think that Option A is likely.
Option A is JUST about JJ's CURRENT tenure as a Lakers HC.

B: Lebron wins another championship.
Laker or not, starter or not; does he have another in him?

C: Jeanie Buss wins another championship as Lakers owner.

Which of these do you think is the MOST likely?
Which of these do you think is the LEAST likely?
Rank them from MOST likely to LEAST likely.
BAC?
ACB?
BCA?
CAB?
C; only because she's not going anywhere.
B; he's not done. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
A; he has barely started, and if he dos win one with us under his current tenure, it would be because of C & B... meaning it could have been someone else, (in my opinion.)

We are so back!!!

I got to sit courtside tonight and didn’t realize that Bron was gonna be back in the lineup on the way to the game. Even better was the surprise victory. We’re turning this thing around!

For me. But nothin crazy, just odds for me.

JJ in his first year, and young. He has the most time.
Jeanie could have 1-2-3-4-5 more years+
Bron has this year, maaaaaaaaaybe next year, even if he were traded to OKC or Boston or somethin.

Did you next to Scottie Pippen? He was sitting courtside on that side of the court too. :lol

Edit:

Nevermind, Scottie was on the opposite baseline.
