We asked our experts to rate the league's best players under 25 years old, and we're rolling out the rest of our top 50 over the next few days, leading up to the Rising Stars Challenge during All-Star Weekend.
18. D'Angelo Russell

Stats & Info: At 20 years old, Russell has an assist percentage of 29.6 this season. He is the youngest Laker in team history with an assist percentage that high.
23. Julius Randle

Stats & Info: Randle is one of seven players with multiple triple-doubles this season. Of that group, only Randle and Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo are under the age of 25.
25. Brandon Ingram

Stats & Info: He struggled to start the season, but since Jan. 1 the Lakers rookie ranks second among all 2016 draftees in both points and rebounds.
32. Jordan Clarkson

Stats & Info: Scored third-most points off the bench in 2016-17 season.
48. Larry Nance Jr.

Stats & Info: For the second straight season, Nance ranks among the top 25 power forwards in Defensive Real Plus-Minus. His 1.2 steals per game lead all frontcourt players who have not started any games this season.

“When I think about the Lakers and where we are today, I know it’s going to take some time. It’s going to take three to five years to get them back rolling again, but if we’re patient, if we develop our own players — because now in today’s NBA it’s different than when I played, because free agent movement is not like it used to be, and so you really have to make sure you try to hit a home run when you do draft, and that you really try to keep the players that you draft on your roster.”

-Magic Johnson

Should calm some concerns about Magic taking a bigger role.

Bravo if he truly believes that. I'll be very happy if he stays in that lane.

Is sanders better than Tarik?

I mean career averages of 6 pts 6 rebs 2 blocks are pretty underwhelming.

Kind of contradicts what he said about the one big superstar no?

Magic still all over the place I see.

This Dlo/Trudell live interview on Facebook is excruciating to listen to

He's so boring and uninteresting to interview

Then he says he doesn't ask Laker vets for advice because "I don't know what to ask". Smh

And he can't even state some individual goals he has as a player, trudell helping him answer lol

This is bad

Yea I had to turn it off. Most interesting thing he said it's he needs to get stronger, like duh!

Maybe all that money got to Dlo's head and feels like he made it already. Damn kid.

D'Lo said as much the night he got drafted about the city of LA and temptations.
