I mean if he gets blatant with the lyrics, they gone kill him. If he throws the sub's like he has been doing nothing will really change. Youcant be as popular as he is, live the lifestyle he does, then tell the truth in a way that is easily understood. They gone catch up with you. Son has todecide. I want to see what direction he goes.

In my op. I think he's gone have a hard time puttin out the messages that he really want to, and any even harder time tryna "sugar coat" what hereally wants to. I think the media just tries to write dude off as an idiot or #+@hole because they kno he got real !*@ to say. To me "collegedropout" had alot to say not jus because it was his first album

Then 808 and Heartbreak came out, couldn't believe Kanye jumped on the Auto Tune bandwagon.
If 808 is an indication of where Kanye's career is headed then it will be downhill from here, hopefully he will start making good music again.
Every great artist has a dud, so he get's a pass for 808.
PS- I know there is going to be hate from some of the Stans that love every piece of work he puts out.

In My Mind was not nice. It is actually one of the worst albums I've ever had the displeasure of listening to. This was compounded by the fact that Iactually like Pharrell and a lot of the Neptunes work. A complete disappointment on multiple levels.

Agree to a point.
But son.. I still bump the 808s.. soft or not.. that album is still hard
cosign, some of those tracks are fire. but i would like him to get back to str8 hip hop on his next album.
hopefully he doesn't set us back again this yr like he did recently at the VMAs

808's was straight from Ye's heart with a plentiful amount of effective ambiance and synth musicality. Considering that dude wasaccountable for nearly every facet of the album, I consider it a better effort than about 80-90% of hip-hoptoday.Originally Posted by ooIRON MANoo

Ye needs to stick to making music. Would you take anything Soulja boy says seriously? Do you live your life under the assumption that Lil Wayne is really amartian? These guys are entertainers, and kanye happens to be tops in that department. Just ignore his empty words, and embrace his musical talent.
