Jordan Retro 1 '85 Black/Red Feb 14th 2025

After tax and shipping because lets face it these will probably be tier 0 shops and SNKRS only these will be pushing $300 retail.

For a Jordan 1.

At retail.

$300.

Watch em be limited af like the 2013s. If they wanted to create a lil hype and make the resale market pop off that'd definitely do it. I know lowkey they love to see their kicks selling for more. Makes people desire the brand more

30k pairs if they are smart. If these are GR numbers they are sitting. I hope the top guys at Nike realize the hype of 1's have cooled off a bit.

Somethin tells me they’ll sell out regardless the price.

But if black/red 1s end up sitting on shelves under any circumstances, we are really in an alternate universe.

In my universe Nike and JB can’t just throw a OG color way out in the wind and expect me to over pay. Things don’t work that way anymore. These better look like they came from 1985 to move the needle for me.

We shall see.

Exactly....I think that's part reason why they taxing em...making sure to get tht $$...makes sense....sell less pairs for more to still hit tht %%%.....if they made them like 2016 banned numbers at 250 they'd sit hard. Idk if ppl realize but the shadows...royals...banneds during that era had huge quantities. When hibbets had em all I knew I'd hit 💯 that was during a time when they never had aj1

I’m confident more pics will show these are nowhere near mids. The shoe’s entire proportions look off when the tongue isn’t even visible in photos. Optical illusion’d

I don’t see these sitting regardless of the numbers made. 50k pairs or 1 million pairs. They will sellout.

Pretty early to be worrying about the shape, height and things like that right now. I’ll wait til closer to release.

A million pairs at $300 they're not selling out and I will die on that hill.

We know those won't be that available though so it's not even worth speaking on that pipe dream. They're going to try to use these to revive Jordan 1 hype.

1 million pairs aren’t selling out at $250 retail lol

Not sure if you’re aware but non-collab 1s are complete bricks at retail. GR 1s are pretty much dead.

I can guarantee you that these are limited.

Nike/JB aren’t going to let one of their flagship sneakers hit discount and brick on resell websites-especially when they are celebrating an anniversary lol

I’m guessing 30-50k pairs of these. Same with the Union and O-W 1s releasing next year as well.

I think JB hoodwinked all of us with that bogus 23,000 number for the NGs.

…that number was horsebleep and drove the resell price way up.
Everything was reselling at that time though.

Literally DUB ZEROS were reselling at one point in 2020-2021 lol

If these were produced in such a quantity that they miraculously sat I would very much okay with that! Even though the aftermarket is correcting itself, if these end up being limited don't think all those loser *** resellers who have been taking Ls on recent releases won't try to capitalize off of these, regardless of the $250 MSRP tag. Those jobless circus clowns will gladly try to mark these up to $275-$325 and make barely $25-$50 per pair.

No way. To sell out 1 million pairs even the casuals and kids would all need to want them badly as well and I dont see that. My girl even told me she cool on them cuz she loves her patent leather ones. They have made so many variants of the bred 1's recently only guys like us are gonna appreciate the differences tbh

I hope you’re right, but this is one of those shoes that brings everyone out of the woodwork. Along with BC 3/4’s and Concord/Playoff 11’s.

Even them wolf grey 12’s sold out,so you can bank that these will too.

definitely a bigger size of the 2025's in that comparison. hopefully the more average sizes look better.

i'm not a 1's guy and I told myself i'm getting these. with that said... I've barely worn my 2013s so if these aren't special its gonna be tough to justify.

Youre not reading the room, 1 million people not buying these for $250 plus tax and shipping

It’s over priced but I’ll pay it for these. Let them try charging that for trash like those reimagined 5s 😂.
