Is Lebron James still the best basketball player right now?

There was another bullet pass to a cutter in the paint from the top of the key that didn’t make that highlight reel because the ball was kicked back out for a missed three. He makes ridiculous passes nightly, to the point that it seems routine.

Can’t belive some of you are trying to argue that he is a overrated passer :smh:

It’s comical.

15 years in and his IQ and court awareness is at the highest level. Can’t belive some of you are trying to argue that he is a overrated passer :smh:

cool passes. last one is most impressive. he threaded the needle on it. but... opinion remains unchanged. players make these exact (last one not that common outside of top notch point guards) passes nightly. the only one catching praise is lebron. it is what it is

Yes.

But good lord the eastern conference is trash. How do you let one man dominate your entire conference for 7 seasons in a row? 8 after they handle Boston or Philly.

It doesn’t take away from Lebrons accomplishments because his teams have actually won titles and made those finals competitive and held their own against the West, but the Eastern Conference the past 8 seasons reminds me of the AFC in football the years the Bills went to the Super Bowl 4 years in a row and got washed 3 of those 4 times. The east is trash, aside from maybe the 2012 Celtics, and that’s a stretch at best, it’s no team in the east that was capable of beating the west team in the finals aside from Lebron teams during this stretch of dominance.

I hated LeBron for a long time after he left Miami, now I must admit that he's clearly the best player in the league right now and quite possibly the GOAT.

His squad is trash yet the Cavs are about to win the East as a 4 seed

Trash compared to who? The rest of the East? Let's not do this again. The only reason they were a 4 seed in the 1st place is he basically quit for an entire month to get new teammates.

"We've got a ******* squad now" -Lebron James

"best passing offensive..." i mean, putting those two terms together means james harden is in the mix. in which, by comparison harden is averaging 31ppg and 9 assists whereas lebron is at 26 and 9 assists. tbh people give lebron too much credit for his passing ability. sometimes he threads the needle or uses that strength to beam a ball across the whole damn court accurately and its incredibly impressive. but..... stop calling someone who drives and then kicks to an open man in the corner or wing for 90% of his assists a passing prodigy.

dominant? i dunno. had he not just had half his team switched out and been reborn midseason im pretty sure the conversation would be about his decline and needing more help, like every year.

efficiency? in regards to what? hes not even on the first page of results for +/- , offensive rating, defensive rating, amongst other headscratchers. all of this while averaging the 2nd most minutes in the league, and having the ball in his hands more than almost everyone else in the league.... what r u going by exactly?

LMAO bro this was deadass one of the stupidest posts Ive ever seen on here. Seriously, just look how stupid this looks. Like I said in my original post, y'all be saying the same **** for 5 years straight now and dude has only been getting better. He's playing at maybe the highest all time level of any player EVER right now in his 15th season after 7 straight finals appearances. MVP MVP there is no overreacting. If anyone has LeBron lower than 2 or 3 on their all time list theyre bugging out major. Just give it up guys, I was once a big hater too but y'all just wasting your time at this point. He has proved wrong and shattered every single narrative against him in these past 4 years ever since his return to CLE.

He's lost 2 of the last 3 finals since he's been in Cleveland. Going to be 3 outta 4 if he gets past Boston. I'm not impressed by him dominating plumbers and family men in the East for the past 8 years. I'm sorry.

Jordan was nothing more than Nick Young with a signature shoe. I’m sorry, I’m not buying it. Scottie Pippen and Bron debate should be the real debate. Pippen did it all man.

Pippen deserve top 5 all time over Jordan.

Kobe = Rape charge Derozan.

how did it go to greater than mike like everybody just skipped kobe

Bro, Kobe is BY FAR my favorite athlete in any sport ever. But, in what possible manner was Kobe a better basketball player than LeBron? There is zero argument to be made for Kobe being better at this point.

Dude what?! Hes competing against whats going to be one of the greatest dynasties and most stacked rosters of all time.... how is losing to the Warriors 2 out of 3 times a bad thing?! Not to mention the one that he did win was in one of if not the most dominant finals performances in NBA history.

Yada yada yada. All I hear is excuses. Lebron is the Wilt Chamberlain of this era. He's an all time great, but top 3 hands down. Nah. Continue to get your @lamekilla on though.

Oh and don't talk about stacked rosters when he's literally made it his business to have one each of the last 8 seasons. Too bad he ran off the other star on his team this season and is probably getting swept this time out.
