A lot of people in here are discussing things from a "what if you did _____" perspective, which isn't always realistic..I've seen relationships where a girl OR guy (let's not front like only women do it) will get fat or sloppy and not take care of themselves, and the other person will say "Can you please go back to the way you used to be" and the person goes nuts on some "YOU SHOULD LOVE ME FOR WHO I AM NOT HOW I LOOK! I'M UNDER SO MUCH STRESS!! " and all that nonsense, and then the convo stops there..If the other person truly loves them they just try to make the relationship work but that doesn't change that they prefer the way they used to look..Not everything is as easy as going to someone n talking to them.
Also, I don't think this is a discussion that should only deal with looks..I've dated good looking girls in the past that were full of drama (hence why they're EX-gfs) and they would start an argument with a random person over the dumbest thing..That would be considered something to be embarrassed of..Unless y'all like to argue with strangers

I know a lot of people in American society think this way, but the way I feel, why would you even care what other people think about who you are dating? It's none of their business what you do. I'm a big believer of like what you like. F what other people have to say. In most cases, people hate on other people because they are miserable and want what the other person wants. Besides, if you live your life seeking approval of other's then you are going to have rough days ahead of you
