This isn’t common sense though so I understand the memes and why people make them

I had to take a class on how to properly don and doff ppe
have to wash your hands before putting on gloves too for the same reason. And we actually have to sanitize our gloves when we use them to take any equipment off

also when taking off your mask you are supposed to bend forward cause if you take off your mask while standing straight up you could be getting germs and bacteria on to yourself if that makes sense

I watched a bunch of youtube videos on how to put on the n-95 mask.
I know i'm still doing a buncha stuff wrong. I never pay attention during bloodborne pathogen training. I know when I had to wear a full suit and respirator applying chemicals on a golf course, a dude came and fitted me using smoke and everything. ain't no way i'm getting a good fit with those two straps and my youtube degree.

I normally only drive to other "safe" spots or at least places where I can wash my hands. Or I'll wear gloves and then take them off when I get in my car. Or I'll use hand sanitizer. I get the point that if you can't get your hands clean you shouldn't touch your mask, but I also think the majority of people are woefully inconsistent in their hygiene.

Still, this begs the question of why people are going into danger zones so often. Outside of essential employees, where is everybody going besides the weekly grocery store trip? If you're driving somewhere to go for a walk or a jog, you shouldn't be touching anything unsafe with your hands to begin with.

I take off my mask when driving because it’s uncomfortable as hell  it fogs up my glasses so I have to keep adjusting the metal on the nose bridge, has to be tight so it irritates my skin, etc. got the sanitizer in the car for sure though.

Easing of restrictions welcome but gov’t should do much more to increase testing capacity

Members of the Citizens Urgent Response to End Covid-19 welcomed government plans to ease Covid-
19-related restrictions but insisted that government has to drastically increase and expand the
country’s testing capacity to provide a more accurate picture of Covid-19 infections, thus resulting in a
more effective response.

In a media briefing this afternoon, UP molecular biologist and research specialist Joshua Danac warned
that the low cases in some areas and so-called “flattening of the curve” in Metro Manila might simply be
due to the uneven and limited testing being done in the country.

Noting that high concentration of cases were found in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao and Zamboanga,
Danac said this might simply indicate which areas have better access to testing.
(translated from Filipino to English) “When coinciding the many detecting cases with the areas that have more access to testing, then we have to account for that in the data.”

(translated from Filipino to English) “It's also possible to simply observe that the curve is flattening because we simply hit the ceiling of our testing capacity. We know this because if you look at the day to day (results), not yet dropping, no downward trend in the cases of Covid-19 yet,” he said.

He added that the delays in the results of the tests and huge backlog in the validation of more than
4,000 confirmed positive cases meant the data “does not accurately reflect the state of Covid-19 in the
country.”

In order to ramp up mass testing, Danac said the DOH would have to increase laboratory capacity by
speeding up the approval of accredited laboratories, noting that only 26 laboratories have been certified
so far, 18 of which are in Metro Manila.

“Seeing the current rate at which DOH is accrediting these labs, we have to ask if it really is will they reach those targets, ” he said, referring to the IATF’s stated target of 50 additional Covid-19
testing labs this month.

Danac added that to maximize testing capacity of current laboratories, the DOH would have to ensure
that laboratories have enough supplies and personnel. DOH would also have to increase the share of
sampe allocation to private laboratories running at well below capacity.

“The DOH should come up with a system for centralized procurement of testing supplies in order to
ensure that all laboratories are running at full capacity,” he added.

I was in Ridgewood, NJ, a weathly town full of financial folks, 90% of the people in downtown didn't have masks on.
They probably have doctors that do housecalls.

Filipino in-laws. Racism/prejudice to black people, people of dark skin, and other ethnic races have long been common in Filipino Culture. A lot of it had to do with the European Influence from Spain when they invaded the PI. But yes, my in-laws are full-blown racist/prejudice towards black people.

And they don't try to hide that **** either, which is ridiculous.

I really hope that someone calls them out on their BS someday. I was so close to going off on them last night. Smh.
I'll do it, what's their number

That's what I'm afraid of actually. I have a lot of tolerance for a lot of BS. But this dude is something else.

He's working from home and watches the news all day. So when I get home from work, he immediately briefs me on all the headlines and breaking news stuff (all the stuff that is discussed in this thread and the politics thread). So I'm just nodding my head like I've never heard of the news yet.

Dude is not social at all and cannot read a room when they dont give a F about the topic he's trying to discuss. Sad.
He rock with Trump? Puts Caucasians on a pedestal like superior people?

Does this include the five boroughs of New York. I thought the stay-at-home order was untill June 13th

Good let them all leave and not come back.
I'll give you guys an example the rent in my apt is $900.00 a month and that's cheap for Manhattan I live in a pre war building.
not sure what my next door neighbor pays in rent but he has a smaller apartment than I do and has been living here just as long as I have

The people on top of me are renting a renovated apartment that are my apt and my neighbors apt into one.
There are a husband-and-wife team of interior designers who are renting this apartment for $7,500 a month..

They left Manhattan at the end of March and I think they might have came back today though I'm hoping they didn't. They left for Pennsylvania little do they know I have been snooping on them through social media.

The people who own this apartment who they are renting from own an advertising agency. They moved to Brooklyn Heights made a breakthrough through two apartments and bought both Apartments as an investment.
I know for a fact they left brooklyn when the coronavirus was blowing up.

They are all wealthy euro trash.

These are the people who invaded Manhattan Brooklyn and Parts of harlem. These are the people that are leaving Manhattan during the pandemic and these are the people who I hope dont come back to Manhattan and other parts of nyc
Gentrification is a real cancer to inner cities

These People leaving New York City even if temporarily are the ones who made it financially unlivable for most long time New Yorkers to live in the city and some wealthy people who are losing their wealth for whatever reason might be the only bright spots of the Coronavirus.

Creep.

He rock with Trump? Puts Caucasians on a pedestal like superior people?
He claims that he didn’t vote for him. But I’m sure he did since he had a binder for Trump’s tax plan and his plan to drain the swamp. But he’s changed his tune and dislikes everything about Trump.
And yes, he puts caucasians on a pedestal.
