Correct, the mask ban is regarding safety and people using masks to cover their face for sinister motives. It's not because there's an issue with people protecting themselves from covid. I would say there is a targeted population.

maybe I didn't explain "THEIR" motivation behind the ban was their motivation, not mine. THEY are on some bs but it ain't against COVID. You really believe the mask ban is about people protecting themselves against COVID? Basically it's another law legalizing harassment of minorities.

I haven’t seen one of my neighbor’s kids in a few weeks. I ran into his dad today and asked about his son. I was totally expecting to be told he got married or moved out....Turns out he was in a coma after getting covid at work (Costco) and taking too long to go to the hospital. He tried to tough it out but got weaker as time went and he ended up having a heart attack or stroke. He’s only 28! I remember running into him and he’d have a simple blue mask on as he walked to work in the days before everything got bad. I feel terrible for him and his family. He’s still in the hospital and he’s able to open his eyes now so that’s a good sign. I’m praying he fully recovers because he’s a good kid.

In a display of some of the most brazen stupidity I’ve ever seen, I had a longtime LPN at my job ask me, the Assistant Director of Nursing/Infection Preventionist, for a blank Flu vaccine consent form so that she could “get one of the nurses here to fill it out for her for nursing school” without actually receiving the vaccine.
She must’ve thought that since I’m generally friendly and approachable at work that I’d just go along with it, but I pulled her into the office right away. I thought something like that should be grounds for immediate termination, but she’s a union employee so the best I could get was a final warning and now I have to inservice every nurse about the ramifications of falsifying vaccination records.
I’m still blown away as to how someone can be that stupid. She’s MAGA as he’ll, so I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised, but still. I’m sure I’m on her **** list for the remainder of our time working together, but I’m alright with that. If she does end up graduating from RN school I’ll see to it that she doesn’t get a position with us.
