North Carolina senior tailback Shaun Draughn has been cleared to play and will make his 2010 debut Saturday against Georgia Tech, the school announced on Monday.

A native of Tarboro, N.C., Draughn was held out of the LSU game while the University worked with the NCAA to determine his eligibility status.
Draughn rushed for 567 yards in 10 games in 2010. As a sophomore, he recorded 866 yards on the ground.

We should have a handful of other players cleared before the game as well.

Always thought LaLota would be a solid DE. Wish he would have given it longer than 18 months. Gunna need another DL class around 6-7 deep.

Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips running back Demetrius Hart has seen each of Michigan's first two games in the 2010 season. He was in Ann Arbor on an official visit during the Wolverines' season opener against Connecticut, but also tuned in the Wolverines' 28-24 victory over Notre Dame yesterday.

"I watched it yesterday and all I know is Denard [Robinson] got off and ran that thing," Hart commented. "I feel I can come in and play right now in that offense with Denard, then it will be 'pick your poison.'"

Hart plans to see Auburn next weekend and Alabama on Oct. 2 before making his decision

The Michigan coaching staff expressed that same sentiment to Hart when the four-star running back was on his official visit last weekend. Sitting down with Michigan head coach Rich Rodriguez gave Hart the opportunity to discuss Michigan's future and the potential of his future with the Wolverines..

"I got lots of time with Coach Rod," Hart said. "I got some questions answered about whether they think they'll be there next year and stuff like that. He gave me a great report and I feel real comfortable now."

Hart has made several unofficial visits to Michigan over the course of the last two years, with his most recent trip coming over the summer. He attended a Michigan game during the 2008 season, but found his most recent game experience in the Big House to be his best yet.

"Being the record-setting game, it was a lot different," Hart said. "The vibe from everyone was good for the season opener and they won, so that was real good.

"They were playing good and I felt like they were clicking. They were unified, they all ran to the ball, they were flying around and it looked like they were expecting big things from this year."

Following Michigan's win over Connecticut, Hart had the opportunity to get the Wolverines player's point of view on the rest of Michigan's season and the future of the program.

"J.T. Floyd, Ricardo Miller and No. 13 who got hurt [Carvin Johnson], they came back to the hotel and we were just chilling," Hart said. "They said they are young, but they are ready to play. They are one of the top five youngest teams, but they're all just ready."

Hart has narrowed his list of offers to a top three schools of Michigan, Alabama and Auburn. He is scheduled to graduate high school and enroll in college this winter. He plans to take two more trips, then make his final college selection.

"A decision is coming pretty soon," Hart said. "I'm going next week to see Auburn-Clemson. Most likely that will be an official, but I don't know yet. I'll get out to Alabama probably for the Alabama-Florida game [Oct. 2]."

Michigan has held a lead for Hart at several stages of the recruiting process, and with the clock ticking down on his recruitment they have once again jumped out in front for the 5-8, 190-pound tailback's services.

"I'd say Michigan is out front," Hart said.

UGA ain't beating nobody without AJ. Mallett will light them up.

And College Gameday will have been in SEC country for the first 3 weeks of the season (Atlanta, Tuscaloosa, and now Auburn this week). They might as well set up camp down here with Bama/Arkansas next in Fayetteville, AR and UF/Bama back in T-Town the following week.
