I think Aemond was developed into the menace, and Aegon into the stupid but not entirely forgone character… based on what Halaena said. I go back to episode 1 when he wanted to supply the guy back with his sheep, and Otto Hightower advised him against it. His downside is being an idiot and hanging the innocent rat catchers lol

The only other characters they developed were the dragon riders. And Allicent’s brother and son.

It was lacking with Team Black in terms of character development.

I agree completely on the promise of dragon rage and not getting it, Rook’s Rest and then just basically showing how many dragons you have to each other? Ehhh

I think Otto will be a big player in S3, along with Alicent’s brother we haven’t seen

I now have the book so I’ll know before all this **** sets off

Interesting move by GRRM considering that the show, despite its flaws, is a hit and HBO has already committed to two more seasons.

Maybe he’s hoping he can influence some improvements in seasons 3 and 4.
