Yeah, didn't they say in GoT multiple times that dragons haven't been around for centuries? Major reason why people didn't believe that Daenerys had dragons.

Ep showed that Aemond isn't that guy
He just happens to have biggest dragon and still basically lost his first battle and had to sneak attack.
He'll be food when he really needs to fight
How did he lose the battle?
Bruh, changed his plan the time he saw Aegon and just sat and waited and literally kill two birds with one stone
Aemond has become my favorite character, because he's playing the game.

If Rhaenys didn't turn back on some blaze of glory **** and went back to Dragonstone like she looked set for he would've had the King getting crippled with his dragon getting killed on his watch.
Vhagar didn't do **** against Meleys face to face and still got brought down even 2v1. She only does damage sneaking up on folks unexpectedly.
Whatever game he's playing has gotten him hemmed up until a stroke of luck each time. Him being lucky doesn't make him some master tactician

OG GOT was great because the premise was what if the rich people in a medieval world were mostly all just kind of "Cali Cool," just quaffing wine and talking about their feelings. It was great because the real Medieval Europe and its close analogue, Westeros, was much more like that than the way most fantasy medieval RPG games look.
That said, HOTD, has gone too far in the other direction. Rich people in Medieval Europe were pretty modern in many ways BUT, they weren't as xanax'd out many of the HOTD characters are.
Before Aegon stupidly flew out to battle, we should have had a scene more like this...
Personal destruction isn't very satisfying to watch without bravado before hand.
That said, HOTD, has gone too far in the other direction. Rich people in Medieval Europe were pretty modern in many ways BUT, they weren't as xanax'd out many of the HOTD characters are.

Don’t play on Rhaenys and Meleys like that. From the source itself, she would’ve had a chance 1 on 1 against VhagarThat's really the only way to take down Vhagar.
She is big and terrifying and seemingly invisible with the way she just disappears and sneak attacks people in the middle of a fight.
On top of that she is spiteful as hell.
The other dragons gotta go full nWo on her at this point.
