Dominos power explained by Marvel themselves:

Domino is a mutant with the ability to subliminally and psionically initiate random telekinetic acts that affect probability in her favor by making improbable (but not impossible) things to occur within her line of sight, thus causing her to have "good luck" and her opponents to have "bad luck." This phenomenon can be anything from an enemy's equipment failure to hitting just the right switch with a stray shot to shut down an overloading nuclear reactor. This unconsciously controlled talent is triggered when she is in a stressful situation (such as fighting or escaping). This effect constantly emanates from her body at all times and is completely subconscious. However, it is also largely participatory - in order for the luck to take effect, Domino herself must engage in an action whose chance she can affect. For example, if debris falling from the sky was about to hit her in the head, she would still be hurt if she stood still. However, if she tried to avoid them, she would move perfectly to avoid each and every piece about to hit her. In addition if Domino were to stand before a hail of bullets she would be a bullet-ridden corpse. Instead, she must take action, attempting to avoid the gunfire and will miraculously bob and weave just perfectly to avoid every single shot. As a byproduct of her probability abilities, Domino's cerebral cortex emits a current of bio-electric pulses down her spine to instinctively guide her movements during such situations, which has the added effect of augmenting her natural reflexes and agility to near-superhuman levels. Although Domino cannot consciously control her ability, she can activate it by putting herself in a position in which she could be harmed. The full extent of her powers is still unknown.

it's pretty clear there how her powers work and the work around it, since it is a psionic power, it can probably be turned off or shut down by a powerful psychic

as for how she found out about her powers, she was part of the government project so they probably tested and monitored her and they came to that conclusion

Thank you sir!

Speaking of The Merc With a Mouth, analysts predict that the R-rated sequel should comfortably pass Logan's domestic total of $226 million this weekend.

5.5 / 8

- Was in line with the first one except with a more emotional tone
- Brolin was solid as Cable -- did he really get that yoked for the role?
- The kid was annoying -- I can see how he got the role
- I would shoot up Zazie's club, no hesitation

didn't get to catch the Gifted

The Gifted has added its first season 2 series regular in the form of Empire's Grace Byers, and her character should be very familiar to long-time X-Men comic fans.

Byers will play Reeva Payge, also known as the Hellfire Club's Black Queen. This small-screen take on the villain is described as:

“a smart, charming, authoritative, elegant, beautiful woman who is ruthless in her efforts to fight for her people. She leads an elite band of followers and has a soft spot for her new recruits, but is still capable of extreme violence in defence of her vision.”
Payge will align herself with Emma Dumont’s Polaris, Percy Hynes White’s Andy Strucker and the Frost sisters played by Skyler Samuels.

The Gifted returns for its second season this fall.

i probably will, is it on netflix?

i don't even remember why i didn't watch it but i think it might have coincided with the nba season?

ugh, i don't have hulu

speaking of hulu, i got to binge watch that cbm show they had too (forgot it's name)

Anyone else hates when these channels just move actors & actresses around to different show. Give a new guy or girl a shot.

I mean sometimes it just works thou.. like certain networks got their guys

Like HBO with littefinger/carcetti

cloak and dagger

you can start one in case it gets enough big enough interest

the hulu show wasn't getting much love to warrant one, i mean legion is one of the best shows and that has 10 pages iirc in two seasons
