FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Best chicken sandwich I’ve had was a hot chicken sandwich from bj’s brewhouse. Really good and their pizza is pretty good too.

I fail to understand why red onions aren't the Official Onion. they are substantially better in every way, and Rally's uses them so they can't be too expensive.

in the spirit of this thread, here is a pizza I enjoyed very recently:

I interacted with a human being from Earth who does not enjoy pizza last night.
Raw form: Red Onions

More than a simple bake, COOKED form: Yellow/White Onions. Higher sugar content, so better for caramelizing.

Yea they're sweet.
They sell them everywhere.

I use them for everything
I never buy red onions.

Someone explain boba to me...it looks intriguing, but I've never brought myself around to trying it.

Gotta be some sort of "rookie" version out there for first timers, right? :lol

Boba is the sweet tapioca balls on the bottom of a drink. The boba itself is optional, at some places you have to specify that you want boba in your drink. Drink bases are teas (green tea or black tea based), fruit-flavored teas, milk teas. You can also get smoothies, milkshakes, and slushees, if you want to consider those as “rookie” drinks.

Just get a taro milk tea with boba. That’s the starter drink right there

Had On the Border last night after getting home from traveling back all day from LA. We basically only go here if we don't feel like eating at the house, but don't want to go "out" since it's right across the street. Burrito was super trash
