Ramen

We sat in individual booths. Great ramen.

Heard this place is great.

In the mood for some ramen now..

Hand rolls @ KazuNori in Santa Monica. Pics don’t do them justice. The rice was so freaking good.

I frequent the downtown location, but it’s amazing how something so simple could be so damn good.

Chocolate Caramel SpongeCake.
Can't see in pic, but has caramel swirled through the Sponge.
I enjoyed it. From Coles Bakery. My local supermarket made fresh in house. All my fvouites, cheesecakes and all that. Are from here. Which is crazy cos it's a supermarket. But can't deny the fact their bakery is legit!

Popeyes is mad hit or miss. Went Thursday. My girl ordered blackened chicken and gave us spicy. I took the spicy, which was fresh. Meat was juicy and everything. Got it today and it seemed like all I was eating was batter.

Yesterday at the fusion spot went to last time. Tried their chicken rice (green portion on first pic) has ginger flavor, a take of hainan chicken's rice with ginger sauce to describe it, bbq pork (bottom), this was softer than those chinese bbq shop that hangs by the window, and spaghetti with meat sauce, has a sweet note like filipino spaghetti

Today, same spot where we got the spicy noodle soup on our last visit

Flatbread stuffed with chives and scrambled egg.

Shanghai salted pork with veg fried rice. Some places come in a claypot so it has a crunchy bottom but not here. Still good but little oily.

Sichuan dan dan noodles. Ground pork in chili oil, green onions and crushed peanuts. Little spicy and has a sweet vinegar to balance the spice
