FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Yes sir! The more I make them the better they are turning out.
What is your recipie. I want to try it out, but I know of nothing in my area that sells it.

Is Roti simply the "bread" ? because I have seen Roti with stuff in it before

Flour
Salt
Water
Butter

I’ll search for the YouTube video I use. There is a technique to it. You have to slit the dough and roll and tuck it. Let it proof. Roll it out and then throw it in a cast iron pan with with a little oil to prevent it from sticking (same concept as making pancakes).

Naked chalupa? That thing sucks.

They need to bring back the Triple Double Crunchwrap. The spicy one was amazing.
Yeahh, that thing. Had to get a quick lunch so I ended up going for the $5 box.

Disappointed. Should've just got the XXL Nacho box lol.

I liked it. Got the spicy one. Only complaint was it was smaller than a regular chalupa. On a related note, I wish they sold that chalupa bread at the grocery store. So good.

It's WAY too small.

What about a rhubarb?

Only ever had it in strawberry rhubarb pie. Don't love it but don't hate it either.

Eggplant is ****ing disgusting. Don't @ me.

KALE IS TRASH

You guys are missing out. Both are delicious.

Bitter melon?

Never had it. What's it like?

Yes sir! The more I make them the better they are turning out.

Roti looks good man

It's probably the most bitter food I have ever eaten.

If you have never had it, especially raw, I could see someone spitting it out.

What I learned about cooking bittermelon: don't stir it once you drop it into the pan. It makes it less bitter & the bitterness doesn't distribute throughout the entire dish

Oh, and juicing it with apples is pretty good.

Taco Bell has never hurt my stomach...I only eat there when I really have no other choice.

The $5 box is a legit deal though.
