Not sure if i mentioned this. But i just remembered i finally got to try the chop cheese during my visit to NY. Best thing ive had and it was cheap too. What do yall local new Yorkers think about it?

Im from MA btw
My reason they may have expired food handling licenses and cleanliness might be lack luster . I'm talking about the hood spots though. You gotta comb through the decent bodegas for a good well made sandwich. If not your gonna get okie doke and fall sick. This also applies to halal carts and street food vendors.

Never had it at a store but I use to make my own all the time.
 
Bruh i have googled chopped cheese's about 5 times in the past year. Seems right up my alley.

Gotta try it if im ever in nyc
