Mom came to visit the new house and made some soup. Anyone else’s mom feel the need to make soup in 80 degree weather . This is lentil soup with small piece of plantain and of course lime because I cannot have soup without it. Also any advice on electric stoves. I made rice yesterday and damn near almost burnt it

Went to True Food Kitchen out in Gaithersburg today after a doc appt for one of the girls. Food was ok, but prices seemed a bit wild for what we got. Probably wouldn't go back.

Yeah I've been to the one in Merrifield and don't remember anything memorable about the food. Brilliant design and atmosphere though.
