Lentil Soup is fire. But I like that Yellow Middle Eastern Lentil Soup more.Mom came to visit the new house and made some soup. Anyone else’s mom feel the need to make soup in 80 degree weather. This is lentil soup with small piece of plantain and of course lime because I cannot have soup without it. Also any advice on electric stoves. I made rice yesterday and damn near almost burnt it

It's good. Flavor is different than the regular lentil soup. Has a bit of chicken soup vibes.

Back at my favorite South Indian restaurant in Hicksville, Long Island. I had the onion with green peas Uttapam. For appetizer I had the idly(steamed rice & lentil patty) & vada(fried lentil donut). For dessert a cup of mango malai & also ras malai & Madras coffee. Than dessert for me at a spot called Layers. Got some nutella brownie, oreo cupcake, Belgian chocolate cupcake. They are all so moist & scrumptious
