Seeing as it's cold as hell out there for most, I thought I'd post an article I found on cooking a decent steak indoors:

I eat 2-3 rib-eyes a week and this method has hit the spot for me, but I'm also pretty poor at cooking meat on the stove in general, so my expectations were low. Any other input on steak preparation would be appreciated.

This place is in Cali, but from what I understand the style of the sandwich is modeled fromt he "Rutgers Grease Trucks" so I'm sure you can find them in NY. Jerry Ferrera co owns this joint too.

I had it a couple years ago while out to dinner with my girl and her friends, I wasn't very impressed with it either. It's alright, but not like the internet makes it seem.

You can get that same exact sandwich at Cherry Valley in Queens.
