I've heard separating the soy sauce and the wasabi is the proper way when at a spot that properly curates their soy sauce and wasabi fresh. I doubt i've been to a spot like that in the US ever so I mix it, they still hit the tongue seperate to me.

Not for me. I need wasabi in the sauce and I mix it well. The regular taste of wasabi is a little too potent for me.

Man, I think I had 40 pieces of sushi. Toro, halibut, halibut fin, black sea bream, shrimp, yellowtail, I even had some whitewashed calif roll, shrimp tempura, Santa Monica roll, and the important side of jalapeño. Don’t mind the Star Wars plate and kids kindergarten plate. I’m done. Gonna watch Old guard on Netflix and be sleep by 830p. Today was a great day
