FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Have grocery store seafood shipments been looking normal-ish?

depends on where you go. Whole Foods had like no organic meat. For 3 days straight. And was surprisingly pretty wiped out. Trader Joe’s was low on the meat but they said they were getting trucks everyday and if they didn’t have something today they would have it the next. Wegmans said they are being limited by their suppliers. They said they are cutting their orders by 60% which is a lot imo.

I think if you do like one or two big trips (if you even need to) you should be good. The biggest annoyance for me was finding that damn spinach

Went to the grocery store to buy the "scrapple" to taste and review.

They were sold out

My wife always uses my name at restaurants, even if I'm not with her.
Her name is unique and she always gets the what, how do you spell that?
My name is unisex, so it works.

Wifey just got back from Harris Teeters. Said there wasn't many people. Plenty of ground beefs and chickens, but no seafood.

Our fridge and pantry looking more legit than it ever has

Costco has the frozen seafood loaded and it’s limited to 1 per membership per day so the idiots can’t hoard the u15 frozen prawns.

it’s not fresh gulf shrimp but it’s cool.

I’m loaded up now, took a bunch of produce from my wife’s job and went to Costco.
