Good ****. I’m probably doing wine all day today and saving the coquito for my off days between Xmas and New Year.

I wanted to buy a bottle of this Spanish “old world” red my wine plug recommended to me last time I was in the shop for today but my immediate family for the most part are uncultured when it comes to the nectar of the gods.

Got two turkey so broke one down(easier than doing it when done and you get more meat off the bone) and cooked it at 450° for one hour. Came out moist not to mention time and energy saver. Ate one drum and wing since there'll be three more of each lol. I wanted to do the same to the second but my family insisted on baking it whole.

I’m two hours in on a seven to seven and half hour cook. First year brining the bird for 24 hrs instead of injecting. Cross your fingers, NT or we eating Popeyes sammiches.
