Prolly the best French toast I ever had
It was a cinnamon brioche bread
Also had some lightly scrambled eggs with goat cheese over toast
With potatoes
And grilled tomato

Not a thing in Europe the way it is here. For instance, it wouldn't be a topic to the extent someone would ask "You really don't tip?" Let alone the wild judgements and assumptions behind it.

I don't think it's a western thing. There are tons of countries in Europe where tipping isn't the norm.
