Red Bull needs to give Helmut the Juri Vips treatment at this point.

The Perez comments were unacceptable.



Statement from The Mexican Grand Prix:

It is important that measures are taken to prevent this and that apologies are made when necessary. We invite everyone to build a more respectful and united community in Formula 1, promoting healthy competition both on and off the track.”


I really hope they cancel this knuckle dragging idiot. MGP could have gone a step further and stated that they don’t welcome that kind of behavior at their track. But at least this statement gives Checo the freedom to not have to come out and defend Bigot Marko and make excuses for racism.

Does it bother anyone else when you’re watching something on F1tv and David Croft is not commentating? Or that’s just me? Went back to watch 2022 Brazil Qualifying and Sprint and it’s the Sky Sports team. There should be an option to choose which I want to hear.

There usually is the choice for Sky commentary on F1TV, under the International feed.

I watch on Apple TV and always noticed the little pop up about swiping left but could never figure out what it meant because I had my remote settings set to just click. I had to Google it.

I’m only bothered by the commentary when Karun is on the broadcast.

Guy is a never-was complete bum with an agenda. Always creating fake drama, calling for investigations when there’s nothing to be investigated. Always appealing to the lowest common denominator. I suppose it could be worse if we had to endure Ralf Schumacher and his nonsense though.


Personally I’d like to see Anthony Davidson more. He’s definitely the future of F1 Broadcasting.

If crofty got replaced next week I wouldn’t care. Brundle on the other hand? I might cry.

Helmut has been and always was racist. He said some wild **** about Yuki last season, and has continually bashed Checo. I’ve heard people try to give him a pass because of his age and “it was just something that was accepted when he was growing up.” Don’t give them any excuse to sweep this under the rug. It’s never okay to be racist/derogatory towards someone and their culture. I don’t care how old you are, it doesn’t make it right. What bothers me the most is that stuff like this doesn’t get much coverage at all.

Yeah what he said about Tsunoda was wildly racist too.

F1 is the most casually racist sport I’ve ever watched in my entire life.

The lack of regard for Lewis is astounding too. The paddock is properly afraid to venture into blatant racism against him in 2023 (that’s not to say that between 2007-2022 they weren’t), but they supplement that by passive aggressively attacking him pretty much any time he makes any sort of comment.

Notice how there’s this extreme reverence for anything Max accomplishes and the effort to push aside the fact that the RB19 is the fastest car.

Croft and Brundle are the best duo since Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan.

there is always double standard when it comes to ethnicity and religious belief. from what I've noticed, South Americans, Asians, African Americans are wildly not given nor protected from these kinds of racist comments in a sport dominated or established by Caucasians. I rarely see racist comments thrown to someone who is a Caucasian or Jewish. now if Helmut threw a comment towards someone who is Jewish, he would be out the door by now.
