thanks to everyone for the comments. i typically wear wool, wool/silk, wool/cashmere jackets/suits in the winter and primarily cotton, cotton/silk, silk/linenjacets and suits in the summer. also i prefer 2 buttons to 3 buttons ... own only one one-button suit - but looking to have a couple one button peak lapelsmade sometime next year. double breasteds too are a good look if you get it in a modern cut.

the tailor is your best friend when it comes to suits and such.

Martin + Osa is having a 50% off all sweater sale this weekend. Tried on a couple and it seems to fit me nicely. Bought 3 of them to test out the water.

For those who are on the leaner side and are looking for slim fit pants and chinos, the new Bowman fit from J. Crew is pretty nice and not that bad at around$60-70 a pop.
