Dressing better

Which version do you have? The reason I ask is because I tried on a pair of Cole Haan Gunnisons and the shoe seemed great. Only reason I didn't buy them was because of the ugly croc pattern and have been trying to find a pair without the pattern.
Great question, I'll look tonight when I get home. I believe I got them from Saks.

Oxford is simply a type of dress shoe, usually a plain and simple pair of dress shoe, usually the classic shape of a dress shoe.
It could be bucks, cap-toe, etc...

When it comes to dress shoes, I really wouldn't suggest going cheap like American Eagle. When you said "AE" I assumed it meant Allen Edmonds andthat would have been a great choice.
If you can, spend a bit more. A well made oxford will last you decades and dress shoes, especially the well-made ones, can be cobbled and resoled fairlycheaply so the shoes could last you a decade or two with proper care.

Again, what is a "reasonable" price. $200 for a well-made dress shoe is pretty reasonable to me, $150 is practically a bargain especially if itsbrand new.
Look at Endless.com. Here are some of my picks for < $200 from Allen Edmonds.

Endless.com is great, especially if you are not sure of your size. Free overnight shipping, free returns/exchanges, no hassle. You can keep sending it back forexchanges until you get your right size.

Do you happen to know how they fit compare to Nikes and J's?

I heard they fit pretty true to size, but that's just word of mouth.
I know someone on NT knows though.

RFX, since you seem very bored at work, can you find me a nice slim thigh-length trench coat? Something that can be worn with slim jeans? Thanks!

Are there fake Allen Edmonds out there? I see some really cheap prices on a few on ebay, was wondering if it was smart to jump on it

I resent that! I just have free time here and there until I get real busy later on.

Sorry but living in CA, I never had to deal with trench coats so I can't help you in that department.
However, I do not think there is anything barring you from wearing any trench coats with slim jeans.
I'd imagine it'll have the same effect whatever trench coat you get.
I've noticed Burberry had some nice trench coats, Shia is wearing one here:

I purchased those Tonal Sneakers from them and LOVE them. I wear a 10.5 in Air Maxs, and a 10 fit pretty much perfect for me.

It's from a GQ photoshoot and their cameraman always makes someone jump or do something in motion.

Yeah, it's usually the more lanky dudes though. Like McLovin and the Asian dude from Harold & Kumar.

Looking at the pix again,Shia got pretty high up in the air in those dress shoes, lol.

I'll post up more outfits when the weather cools down. It's over 100 degree today so just a t shirt and shorts for running errands.

Yeah, most of the people they shoot are mostly fitted guys, I mean those designer clothes has to fit properly so it looks good on the magazine.
Although they did have Raja Bell, Chuck Lidell and Horatio Sanz in an issue though.
