Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Those look great! Rubber soles are meh, but for casual wear those would be awesome! Where did you find them?

Saks Off 5th Outlet near my house. They're super light and comfy. The soles are labeled "XL Xtralight" and they weigh next to nothing. Like walking on soft, responsive pillows.

as long as those rubber soles aren't black, i'd cop. Magnanni is made in Spain and are carried at Nordstrom. Most models run around the $300 range

wow, so from what i'm reading on SF, i messed up guys. Firstly, put yourself on the email list to be notified when sales run from shoebank. Apparently these bad mothers were running apart of that $130 sale in both walnut and brown:

Still very happy with my two obviously but jesus do i wish i scooped these as well

Yeah that's what I do. Just stay in the SF thread and you will never miss a deal.

Man, I'm getting amped to go work out later now. Before I started working, I used to watch the Rocky saga so many times :lol

The whole soundtrack is super dope. This and trap music is what I play while at the gym.

Working out on Sunday afternoon and evening is the best. Gym is empty so you can use all machines and exercise room to your liking. Conversely, Mondays suck because its always pack.

Always been my inspiration.

Wanted to share this. My man Synthese from SF

:eek You only weight 145? Swear it doesn't look that way
Haha I gained some. My raw weight is 155 lbs. This is in the morning before I eat and after I use the bathroom. My walking weight is about 160 lbs.

Here is when I was 145ish:

Keep in mind, I'm only 5'9''.

I hate StyleForum...alot of dudes on there find something wrong with EVERYTHING...If your pants are 1/8'' too long they'll trash your entire fit :lol

Everything doesn't have to be 100% tailored to perfection if it fits well overall...

I ended up buying them because I've been looking for double monks for a while now and I really like the cap toe/toe shape on these. The sole is very dark brown/probably black but since I plan on wearing them casually (with jeans, chinos) they should be ok. I'll probably sit on them for a few days before I decide on actually keeping them though because ideally I wanted leather soles but the price on these seemed pretty good.

Found these for 110. Interesting combo, suede upper with rubber soles. Magnanni is the brand. Should I?!
I really don't like soles like that but those are beautiful, especially at that price!  I would buy those in a robosecond

Hate is a pretty strong word, my man. You have all sorts of members there, just like you do on NT or any otheer boards. There is a small percentage who are perfectionists that you speak of. SF has been great to me. It taught me a lot, and I networked with wonderful folks on there. I used to be semi obsessive like that, ie worried about both shirt sleeves being shown equally through the jacket, but now I have become more relaxed and as a result, have been enjoying the clothes more. Perfection is unobtainable.

This challenge was pretty hard for me since I'm in scrubs during the week lol. These are compiled over a couple weeks. Same trench 3 ways.

Hey guys I recently took to trying to make my own clothing with the help of my daughter. I had been longing for a denim jacket with leather sleeves. So I took an old trucker jacket I wore in the navy and fashioned sleeves out of an old welders apron. This is the result.
