That is in fact true.
However, the width of the lapel is on top of the jacket. It's the length of your collar that is the determining factor that decides if your points are hidden.

Can't tell much from those pictures, but I would put a plug in for a bag with a handle...comes in surprisingly handy sometimes, even for a messenger bag. I regret not customizing my timbuk2 and putting a handle on it.

does anyone here ever take an iron to their ties? Obviously not straight contact, but wondering if it'd still be safe with some sort of cloth in between on a lower setting. some of my silk ties have gotten wrinkled when traveling
