I found that the Swims galoshes work well when its not raining too hard but they don't hold up very well in the winter - I picked these rubber loafers in black for this upcoming winter, they've held up great so far in the rain

I have 2 pairs of BR Chukkas with rubber soles that I wear in foul weather. I'm thinking of getting some AEs when on deep discount as beaters too.

Would a charcoal or black suit be ok with a knit tie (loosened) with the top button unbuttoned?
