Did Blowing into Nintendo Cartridges Really Help?

it's funny how they say blowing in the cartridge didn't work, but it does. rubbing alcohol and a q-tip always made it work, i recently used it on the n64 too and voila, magic :pimp:

I know that if blowing into the cartridge didn't work you could push it down harder into the system and stick another cartridge on top..That would work too..And my brother would put it standing straight up, hanging off the side of our console tv, and that would help as long as you didnt want to change the game..
Got Mike Tyson's Punch Out and Rygar sitting in the drawer right now, ready to go..
That was my strategy as well.

yo when I was playing that gold plated cartridge of zelda I was getting super light-headed same thing with super mario bros 3.

then if that didn't work I would keep on pushing the tray down and up a couple times and hitting reset with my other hand.

Lol. As a kid, I was told that blowing on cartridges was counter-productive, but that method always came through for me
