There was the potential for a ton of coaching upheaval this offseason. As the season concluded, there was chatter -- which didn't pan out -- about change in New Jersey, Atlanta, Toronto, Chicago and Golden State. Meanwhile Philadelphia, Detroit, Sacramento and Washington will all enter the fall with new leaders (Eddie Jordan, John Kuester, Paul Westphal and Flip Saunders, respectively).

C.J. Watson is looking for a multi-year contract and an increase in playing time, two things he likely won't receive from the Golden State Warriors.

Watson is testing the free agent market and could sign an offer sheet with another team or be dealt in a sign-and-trade.

"Next season, Kelenna Azubuike is a free agent and is represented by the same agent as C.J. Watson. If the Warriors screw over Watson, I guarantee that Azubuike will leave. No question, they'll return the favor," a source close to the situation tells RealGM's Alex Kennedy.

Last season, Azubuike averaged 14.4 points and 5.0 rebounds while starting fifty-one games for the Warriors.

Azubuike has a player option for the 2010-11 season worth $3.3 million.

"Watson, who rejected a one year, $2.3 million offer sheet from Philadelphia earlier this summer, is looking for a multi-year deal and an increase in playing time.

Philadelphia, New York, Orlando and three other unnamed teams have been in talks with Watson's camp, according to Powell.

While Orlando can't offer anything more than a minimum contract, sign-and-trade talks are ongoing.

"Otis [Smith] has been in constant contact with Golden State and it's definitely still a possibility," says Powell."

i've slept for at least 13 hours total the past 5 days. everytime i worked this weekm i started at 4 am and usually work between 4-8hours. i get home and don't sleep til like 2 pm and wake up at 4-5pm and stay up til i have work again. this definitely can't be heatlhy, the longesti've slept was like 4 hours and that was due to me taking nyquil. what's weird is that i'm not that sleepy even with the little hours i sleep. cananyone help me? i just can't seem to stay asleep for long.

I doubt the Warriors were actually thinking of a coaching change. I think it was more of the media insisting there be one.
