Question: In your opinion are a pair of shoes deadstock if they have been put on laced up and worn around the house?

This....If your foot has been in the shoe, it is no longer DS.
Even if you were just trying them on.
If you're selling me a shoe and you say its DS..the most I expect you to have done is glance at em...if they're suede or white I prefer you not even touched them that much...just me
they are being touched by the people in sweat shop...
Some shoes have been tried on by someone else at a retail store and passed on for a different size before the next person gets to purchase them, so there's no telling of whats truly dead stock on some shoes if that's what we're basing it on. And unlaciing a shoe doesn't make it NDS, it makes it unlaced...
They don't let u try on retro releases at the store
They do at the stores I go to.They don't let u try on retro releases at the store

Terrible compairson, you will never be able to buy a car with zero miles. Unless you buy a new motor and change our the odometer...Deadstock is brand new & never worn, and trying on is wearing.
It's like buying a car with 0 miles, only to drive off and it already has a mile or two on it.
With gloves....they are being touched by the people in sweat shop...
not true. my car came with zero miles when i got it.Terrible compairson, you will never be able to buy a car with zero miles. Unless you buy a new motor and change our the odometer...
It's impossible to buy a car with 0 miles. It's test drove my customers, driven to the dealership, etc. before purchase. So does that mean you're not buying a brand new car? It's not considered a used car when you buy it. So, same deal with shoes. If it's not worn outside, it's still brand new. If you say you bought a car with "0" miles on it, YOU ARE LYING.Deadstock is brand new & never worn, and trying on is wearing.

I agree with ya'll. Car dealership didn't have the specific color and features I wanted, so I was able to order my car and get it built to my likings and shipped from germany to the US. Brand new and of course will be the 1st owner. And would be getting a call to pick up my car whenever it got delivered first thing. EVEN SO....it had like 9 miles on it or something like that because it had to be driven from the port to the dealership. It's impossible to buy a car with 0 miles.
