listening to the WATCH podcast about the recent Marvel book, the way Feige has done films is probably what Gunn is going to bring to DC as well so we should at least see a more connective universe

so what Feige does is he gives his directors a lot of freedom but they do have to hit some points but he lets them do their movies then once its done, he watches and then gives them stuff that is needed that helps is connect to everything else and the bigger picture that leads to the Avengers or IW/EG

so thats why reshoots are already scheduled from the start because of this process, not because there were always an issue, i mean there are always issues but its mostly to film extra scenes that ties it all in to Feiges vision

now when D+ started, the problem was they tried to do that with the shows too but Feige couldnt do it by himself so he created a committee but the problem is the committee isnt Feige and they dont have his vision

but this brings it right back to Gunn, he was supposedly Feiges right hand man (and was suppose to take the helm from Feige eventually) so if Fiege has enough trust in him to kind of decide those reshoots and connect stuff then it might be a good sign for DC if he can bring that same energy and he truly has full control of everything

at this point, we really could only hope for the best but at least its in the better hands now especially if he really gets no interference from the studio and just trusts him to navigate the universe

should have just removed most of flash scenes in that movie and reshot more batman and kara scenes, rename it Batman Again and made it a keaton batman sequel.
