DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

Not a dceu fan by any means, and been skipping the movies recently but I think I'll make an exception for Shazam. Zachary Levi fan since Chuck. It better be a good film.

so marvel just snatched up ol perry white huh
Yup
Old news.
Yeah but its still funny how it was on some thieves in the night tip.

BvS gets bashed, Perry with a small role anyway, smaller in JL which got trashed. Son crossed over to enemy lines with ease.

It'll be funny to see if they ever release a MoS2 what they do with Clark's civilian life and if Perry even shows up.

but then marvel took potential batman replacement jake g too?

smh who the **** is left maaaan?

We just gonna go back to Christian Bale and Nolan like nothing in between ever happened...

On the real, I was always down with JG playing a villain for DC. I never wanted him as Batman. Dude has Riddler or Joker written all over him.

One of my problems with this iteration of Batman is they’ve aged him to start off this universe. If they want to keep that continuity, they’ve limited their options in terms of actors.v

I need to see Shazam like he is in justice league war

But then again I want the whole justice league like how they're portrayed in that movie

Shazam should have been the last film prior to JL after the established the man guys already.. or could save Shazam and cyborg for 2nd JL movie, cause those 2 should come into JL at same time and cyborg's origin being a subplot

Probably the best thing for him at the time, too much turmoil in his camp and plus the fame was starting to get to him. Writing was on the wall...
Quite the opposite. Son turned each down cuz he didn't want to be the guy that did a superhero movie given they were still having a bad name (as far as serious actors go) despite the OG Spider-Man's success cuz there were still X-Men trash around.

Then dude got disllusioned with the business and just wanted to be a regular guy again. So he moved back home (somewhere in middle America I think) and just watched paint dry or farmed.

When he tried to make a comeback it was mostly in B movies until he got a good gig with Penny Dreadful which was good and had a cult following. Then he did interviews talking about he'd totally be open to do any of those superhero movies, he just needs to get the call

Poor fool passed up A-list roles thinking he was Cruise or DiCaprio, then saw guys like Maguire, Garfield, and Bale get their careers on a higher level to make bank and basically tried to walk back his stance and change his tune too late.

Nah, Red Hood for him.
