If aquaman ends up being trash, i’m done with the dceu unless they ever tease a ww and faora fight.
The thing is why.Think of it this way, its just another chance for a DC movie to do good.
Sure moviegoers will wonder why Jared Leto isn't in this movie or why Joaquin isn't in the next movie but I do think sooner than later the DCEU will get semi-rebooted anyway.
Also, no way Joaquin was gonna be a part of Suicide Squad. Whole reason he turned down Dr. Strange is cuz he didn't want to be locked down for multiple movies.
Well its completely separate from the DCEU so it has nothing to do with what they're building. The thing is why.
We make a movie that has nothing to do with what’s going on. It doesn’t add to what theyre trying to build
Nobody wants to see a joker movie without Batman . And based on what I’m seeing it’s about the joker becoming the joker . That doesn’t sound appealing at all. I’m done giving dc chances.
I actually want to see a Joker film without Batman.
Batman is everywhere and I believe the hero with the most films in history.
There's an upcoming solo Bats film and he'll likely be in Flashpoint.
I love Bats but he doesn't need to be in every DC film.
TDK could be interpreted to be Joker-centric and it was great. If Suicide Squad focused on the Joker as the villain, it could have been great too and they wouldn't have needed Bats in that one either outside of cameos (which Bats could easily make a quick appearance of easter egg in the Joker film).
Melissa McCarthy To Star With Tiffany Haddish In New Line & DC’s ‘The Kitchen’
Melissa McCarthy is finalizing a deal to star with Tiffany Haddish in The Kitchen, the drama on which Andrea Berloff will make her directorial debut. New Line Cinema and DC Entertainment are making the film, with a screenplay that Straight Outta Compton scribe Berloff wrote based on the 2014 comic book series by Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle for DC’s Vertigo.
Michael De Luca is producing through his Michael De Luca Productions banner.
The film is an uncommon one for a major studio: a gritty drama directed by a female filmmaker, with three strong female leads in the anti-hero roles. The Kitchen is an Irish mafia story set in Hell’s Kitchen, New York in the 1970s. An FBI sweep catches mob leaders, and while they are under arrest and their criminal enterprise is jeopardized, the mob wives take over. They end up running the illicit business in more vicious fashion than their husbands ever did.
It has nothing to do with what they're trying to build at all.The thing is why.

I wouldn't mind it. As I've said before, TDK was great cuz of Heath. Didn't need Bats. Could've gave me a gruesome ending and I would've been happy.Nobody wants to see a joker movie without Batman . WB should have just made standalones/else world stories with their big characters from the beginning...with Flash( in his trilogy) being the wild card to cross over into one or two worlds if it works story wise..
I would have been fine with that...
