DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

As for a new Bats and explaining how its so much easier to cram together a few universes.

That easily explains a new Batman instead of detailed time travel shenanigans involving his parents.
sidenote, never watched batman begins but saw dark knight and rises. was that movie any good?
It was okay.

Around Cap: First Avenger level for me.

SHAZAM! Adds Eugene And Pedro to the Cast

Deadline reports that Fresh Off The Boat actor Ian Chen will play Eugene Choi, while Jovan Armand (Bella and the Bulldogs) will play Pedro Peña.

When history is rewritten by The Flash in the comics, these two along with Billy Batson, Freddy Freeman and others join together to become Captain Thunder, that timeline's version of Captain Marvel. It remains to be seen if the movie follows suit or if they're simply portrayed as Billy's non-superpowered pals.

Lost me with First Class but there's no denying the Deadpool managed to stay true to the comics and character while creating something somewhat original and most importantly good/entertaining.

First time hearing dude's name.

With that tweet though and the way DC/WB been going, that guy geta snatched up by Sony after they smarten up :lol

WB already has talent. They just need to let them cook. Zack is gone. Hopefully people let the man have some peace now.

Gavin O'Connor, Patty Jenkins, James Wan, and Matt Reeves all have successes under their belts. I'm not too familiar with David Sandberg, but I heard good things. Don't even worry about the next Justice League "event" film. Focus on the solos. Maybe in a few years, the right person to takeover the JL sequel will be obvious.

I found some third hand info of someone who allegedly saw a glimpse of Aquaman.

- They got a brief glimpse of Aquaman and it looks "very cool".
- They have no idea who the bad guys are, but they look like "underwater aliens with skulls for helmets".
- The lead bad guy [in the glimpse] looks like "Shredder" and the final fight between him and Aquaman occurs on an upturned ship in the ocean. Apparently it's Dolph Lundgren, but they didn't see any shots with the helmet off to tell.
- It is partly an origin movie. We see Aquaman as a baby and his mother who's played by Nicole Kidman.
- Yes, Aquaman rides a giant seahorse and wears the gold and green costume.
- The gold and green original fish scale costume is "bloody brilliant" and he does this dolphin style movement through the water – with dolphins. "Momoa was rigged up to hoist and he was flying through the water and then sprang up into the air!"
- Kidman is all done with body double – her face on double in all scenes – digital capture. They were told by someone on set that a lot, if not all of Cate Blanchette's scenes in Thor: Ragnarok were also CG face on body double. Amazingly well done.
- Kidman’s scenes that they got to see involved her fighting in a lighthouse. Lots of muay-thai style stuff, staff swinging.
- "Let's just say it looks great. James Wan will knock this one out of the park."

Until WB gets the scissors out.

I enjoyed First Class. That movie seemed to indicate Fox was heading towards a certain direction but then it seemed like they made a u-turn with dofp.

I know I won't like the movie either way but the villian has got to be recast that is a HORRIBLE actor. That is about as bad as Micky Rourke in Iron Man2, two horrible actors getting a new lease on life like Andy Dufresne. Good luck either way to the film.

They have 2 better actors cast as Ocean Master and Black Manta. I doubt Lundgren is going to have a significant role. I trust Wan. Ivan Drago's probably just there to look mean and get in an early throwdown for a good action sequence. I'd be surprised if he had that many lines.
