I've always enjoyed 50 and no one is saying dude is broke from this. Most of use aren't dumb...that man is filthy rich. But how is this not a fail? 50Cent, once the biggest Hip Hop artist in the world, only moved 156k first week? Do you not understand how much he brags about his sales? How he down talks toother artist for not selling? Four years ago...just four years ago, he sold 1.5 MILLION copies in FOUR DAYS. Now, he just finished selling 156k in 7days...dude, how is this not a fail?

Granted, the industry is not the same but he shouldn't be doing numbers this low, ever. Once again, that's the problem with these artist, longevity. Hehasn't been able to make anything nearly as good as his debut. Dude is four albums deep, I'd expect at least another excellent album by now. Since heisn't that popular anymore his gimmicks aren't working the way they use to. As for the Triple C's comment, its obvious they flopped like no other.But them nor Ross have never achieved the kind of fame 50 and G-Unit has had. For them to be on top of the world and 6 years later, fade away from the publiceyes, there's NO WAY you can't understand how this is considered a major failure.

And not I'm not even covering for Ross, because I'm not a fan of his music what so ever. Its just incredible how some of you are in extreme denial. Ican't imagine how 50 [and his dedicated fans] would be acting if he went gold on the first week. Once again, you have to Love the irony in this situation.

Do you really think that Jay is going to sell as well in 5 years, probably not, and it won't be because he "killed himself". 50didn't have as much longevity as Jay, that's it.

Sorry, this line doesn't apply. People have just had enough 50 Cent. Jay-Z never possessed the power to end 50 Cent's career. But them nor Ross have never achieved the kind of fame 50 and G-Unit has had. For them to be on top of the world and 6 years later, fade away from the public eyes, there's NO WAY you can't understand how this is considered a major failure.

And not I'm not even covering for Ross, because I'm not a fan of his music what so ever. Its just incredible how some of you are in extreme denial. I can't imagine how 50 [and his dedicated fans] would be acting if he went gold on the first week. Once again, you have to Love the irony in this situation.

This is the guy that sits down at Angie's interviews w/ the sales numbers and a highlighter in front of him pointing out everyoneelse's sales and talking smack, but the current industry situation has nothing to do w/ it Jay sold 300+ in one week Plat in a month still moving 30K onAvg a week. Wayne an artist of comparable stature did 1M in a week last year, and the industry hasn't changed much since then, and both their albums wereleaked weeks and months before their chart debut... THERE ARE NO EXCUSES especially the way he talks. and the promotion is there he's been going hard onthe online marketing on every website you see the album's banner, the music videos, the interviews, the shots w/ Tahiry and Ross' son and Tia, and thealbum was released 1 week prior on iTunes for all to hear before they could get the physical copy this should've actually worked to benefit him anddidn't....anyway you look at it EPIC FAIL!
