I can't speak for all of Ohio but for the month of August I was working in a town called Kent which is near Akron. It def. wasn't as glamourous like NYC by any stretch but it was a relaxed enviornment, overall nice people, alot of cute girls from the university's out there, reminded me of florida except with weather around the 80's which to me was great.

I was told by my coworkers in ohio that Akron, Cleveland and Cincinnati had a bit of crime but I didn't get to go to those parts.

All in all Kent, Ohio was a pretty chill spot. A nice break from NYC for a month but NYC will always be my home and offers alot more to me right now than Kent.

If the search feature was better you could search for every thread with Ohio in the title and you'd have a mountain of evidence.

Looking at the title I'm sure a bunch of Ohioans may have thought they could be able to provide some actual info on their state in a positive light.

You were told correct....I love/hate Kent. It's sooooooo chill but I mean it houses a rival school lol. Akron isn't as bad as Cleveland or Cincy with crime. Pretty much if you're in the state the only way you'll enjoy it is in one of the cities or a town with a school(like Kent or Athens)
