Brooklyn Center Shooting - RIP Daunte Wright

I dont even know what to say anymore. Cops have proven countless times they arent responsible enough with the power they're given. If you cant distinguish a handgun from a taser, you dont get a gun. If you cant deescalate a situation to where you dont fear for your life, you don't get to be a cop. Take their guns and take their badges. All of them. Start over. Make it mandatory cops have to live in the community they police. Because until theres actually reform, these situations will replay ad nauseam. And until there's actual reform, 1213.

remember when kkkops went on a rampage killing people last summer after people hit the streets to protest cops killing people? don't ever forget that. there are no good police. every major city in this. country should be shut down

The bodycam footage is out. The cop ****ed up, and in a civilized country, where those with power are held accountable for their actions, she would've been immediately fired and arrested.
No question, they all immediately knew it.

Seemed like the one cop had it under control and she came in aggressive, causing the kid and officers to panic, then drew her gun.

Wording is so important, and they know it. "Accidental discharge" my ***. This was 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree murder plus manslaughter seeing this is being handled.

Is it viewable?

Cop shot a man and she wasn’t fired. Knew what she did and still had a job. Still free. Remember that

They've tried the "oops I meant to get my taser" defense before. I think it was in South Carolina. Thing is, once you "attempt" to draw your taser, you don't realize that ain't your taser in your hand? Is a gun trigger and a taser trigger that indistinguishable?

Much like mass shootings, things are never gonna change. It'll be one after the other and then on to the next one. Not that things couldn't change, but a large chunk of the American population doesn't want them too.

RIP young man. Unfortunately this is the same thing that happened to Oscar Grant. She will be off in a few years if convicted.
