Folks saying “cops pull you over for no reason” are straight lying.

Driving on the interstate there was a van, truck, and then me in my car. Cop pulls out and flashes his lights at me to pull over. Comes up to me and says “you were following too closely to that van which is why I’m pulling you over”. I said there was a vehicle between us. “No I watched you were on his bumper”. I said no, there was a physical vehicle between me and the van. “Oh...” then he walks around my car and says “well you have a tinted license plate cover so I’m going to write you a warning for that”

Bruh my cover was clear as day

I wasn’t even going to argue with the dude anymore, it was clear he saw a young dude driving a nice car and wanted to snoop around

Also, a 13 year old I’m sure they’ll start saying he was a thug that got C’s in school and didn’t mow the lawn for his parents. Whatever type of character assassination they can do to try and justify it

I remember when i was 14 I was in the mpls 1st precinct dept on a curfew violation. I watched them drag a handcuffed black man, who appeared to already have been beat, into the back room and proceed to beat him so savagely the lady cop at the desk asked another cop if dude was even still alive. The muscle neck cop comes from the back room and starts puffing his chest out at a 14 year old me, asking why I was there.

I've had plain clothes mpls police in an unmarked car pull me over for running a stop sign and immediately approach the car with guns drawn, pull me out, felt the gun in my back.

Ive watched mpls police beat gashes in my cousins back with flashlights right outside his home.

The former head of the mpls police union was a member of a police only motorcycle gang based out of chicago, called City Heat, that displayed white supremacist patches on their motorcyle jackets.

The mpls gang task force was disbanded because they were deemed to literally be a criminal gang themselves.

Mpls police sodomized a young black man with a toilet plunger during a raid, an incident which resulted in a successful multimillion dollar lawsuit.

Police were brutalizing black residents on the north side so bad during the 90s, a gangleader put a hit out and sent a 15 and 16 year old to murder a cop eating at a pizza shop in broad daylight.

Police here have been all bad here for as long as I can remember.

the mayor of chicago, lori lightfoot, already attempted to publicly malign that young boy and it failed. today she blamed it on too many guns on the street. those guns belong to the cops she's been protecting. trash mayor. she's a disgrace

Yea man, and its always the cops in low income neighborhoods. In the better neighborhoods and suburbs theres usually some semblence of professionalism even if they act like dicks sometimes.

And thats the issue, most of suburban america has experience with one type of cop while urban areas have a completely different experience. So when stuff like this happens its incomprehensible to some people that an officer of the law would act in bad faith, they just arent exposed to these animals. Thats why you always have these excuses and this disbelief at the hatred for cops.

And now I feel like ALL these cops, suburban or otherwise, have been/are being radicalized online with all this trump, Q, election, etc..nonsense, just the same as these joe blow "patriots". Its scary.
