You hoop with 10+ people you know EVERYTIME you hoop?

Not sure how it is there but FB groups really help with that. That’s how I met the group I’ve been playing with since I moved to this town last year. Got in on their group chats in Feb 2020 before everything shut down.

So I got the heads up when we started a “bubble” earlier this hear with just us. About 20 heads, all above 30, just from my town so we always get good runs in a few times a week. My boys I grew up with are all too washed up to play nowadays, let alone keep up.

8-10 usually. We’re all early-mid 30s now so mostly half court games when we do run full court half our guys are dead before the games end

Yea I don’t think it’d be that hard to get a group together of all vaccinated hoopers if that’s what is important to you

Been thinking of getting a ball just to shootaround myself, but even then don't think I can cop the amazonbasics one. Unless it's secretly composite leather made by the big companies. It's like adidas in my 20s though I got over that.

But I know how reckless folks are and I'm not about to hoop with a damn mask on either.

Plus it has been so long that I am shook about tearing something.

I've been training and I am in basketball shape but Nah man. Folks are dirty and can't be trusted.

That's always been the case though difference now is people are making up rules or changing the interpretation of rules.

The **** they doing now is more flagrant than the AND1 era.

It's really funny and weird how women's basketball players use the step through

but somehow men's basketball just totally avoids this move and considers it (wrongly) a travel.

i remember in college the women's team would come through and hoop with the normies.
their best player was killing this dude with her footwork and step throughs.


dude was so mad, they were CONVINCED this was a travel.


their coach was around and came through and explained it
he was still mad tho

it's not a travel, dude learned the hard way that day.
