Probably when I finally got my new TV (50" Panasonic plasma) about 3 months after I moved in. I was pretty settled in from day one since I had most of my furniture already. But it didn't feel right until I got my old college 32" TV out of my living room.

It's looking like slim pickings on Amazon... I have the UT50 and the only gripe I have is how glossy the screen is. Can't watch TV with the blinds open during the day. Other than that its a great set and I got it at a good price. I recommend getting the ST50 or better because of the louver filter. But if its in a dark room than the UT50 shouldn't disappoint.

My place in Austin is far from done, but might as well go ahead and share some pics. I have lots of art ready to go for the yellow wall by the dining table, but I'm waiting on my girl to get out here and assist with that. Same with the yellow bedroom wall, the pictures there are just temporary. These shots really don't do it any justice, but anyways...

You guys into scents and aromas? I'm a real sensual guy, so mood lighting and aromas are right up my alley. I go in at bath and bodyworks. The panties just fall off bros. They love when you have a clean, good smelling spot. Real big on candles and scented oils n ****. Just plugged in a bunch of wall flowers today. I'm telling you bros, it'll change everything for you. Scents make everything better. If you're dressed nice, cologne makes it that much better. Same with your home.

I do candles and I read somewhere that if you spray cologne on your light bulbs it spreads a nice aroma around too.

A five storey modular home clings to the side of a cliff in this conceptual design by Modscape. The Cliff House is a design response for Emma and David, a couple who approached Modscape to explore design options for a holiday home on an extreme parcel of land they own on the south-west coast of Victoria. Inspired by the way barnacles cling to the hull of a ship, a concept was developed for a modular home to hang off the side of a cliff as opposed to sitting on top of it. The home is visualised as a natural extension of the cliff face rather than an addition to the landscape, creating an absolute connection with the ocean. As the design itself would make conventional construction prohibitive, the concept utilises Modscape’s modular design and prefabrication technologies to deliver a series of stacked modules that are anchored into the cliff face using engineered steel pins. Entry to the home is through a carport on the top floor, where a lift vertically connects you through each of the descending living spaces. Internally, the living spaces feature minimalistic furnishings to ensure that the transcendent views of the ocean and the unique spatial experience of the location remain the integral focal point of the design

Time.

When I finally moved in, I had everything done already. I made sure to get every thing done prior so as to expedite the feeling of home. So it was fully furnished, painted, clean, etc. But it just takes times to feel like yours, since some other place felt like home for x amount of time. Honestly though, tv helped. Brought be to the couch more, made me relax in this new environment quicker.
