Ive been looking into a tempur pedic, Ive heard it sucks for sex though...any truth to it?
Either $7k or $8k. I like them, but doesn't mean everyone will. When I sleep other places it usually feels horrible now. It's really up to individual on whether it's worth it. For me, I'd say yes. Beds are like shoes to me. If you sleep like crap, it affects your entire life. If you walk around in crappy shoes, it's going to hurt. If if that's the case, you probably should invest a few more bucks for a better quality of life. Just my own opinion and others may completely disagree.
have you took pics of your place yet? Finally got my tv programming today! Had to go the last week w/o tv so was running bath n forth between here and the other spot just to watch shows and movies. Ended up getting Uverse since I couldn't get directv again because of my trees blocking the southern sky. I ave it at the other place still though. I just couldnt subject myself to the terrible CS when dealing with comcast. Feels good to finally have tv. I bought 4 of them and all have been in the box for the last week. Had two of them put up yesterday, one in the kitchen nook and the other in my bedroom.
I feel you on that...I didn't go as far as the spreadsheet but when I take mental invetory, I def say to myself to chilllll.. I could be doin other stuff with tho money. I think you have to find that balance of not goin overboard but still making the spot your own. It sounds like you like nice **** so its probably a pocket hit when you find that rug, coffee table or art piece...Cant do it overnight, plus for me makes it allows me appreciate the process more,Been at my apt for 2 years come November and still have a ways to go. Actually made a spreadsheet of everything I want in it but kind of had an epiphany. So much crap on there is materialistic as hell. That money could go towards savings, a trip, anything. Do I really need that area rug or shelving unit? What about that accent table and side chairs? Idk...
It doesn't feel like "home" just yet and that's what's driving me to keep adding to it. I'm also hoping to move to a nicer area in the hear future so I'm trying to account for that as well. In the meantime, aiming to finish up my "office" in the next few months. Will post pics afterwards
Craigslist?anyone here have bars in their living room / dining room.
I'm looking high and low for one but the ones I like are pricy $400+
any links and ideas?

Maaaaan...
So pissed at my apartment.
When I moved in, they charged a premium for the high floors (17+)
Then.. 3 months in.. I found that they cut the premium...
Moving to the 20/25 floor in October.
And I'm staying on the corner of the building...
I don't have a formal bar at all, but my dad and I built in a "bar table" type thing to a dining area in my apartment. I went cheap though and got a piece of laminate wood from Home Depot (I don't plan on being in my apartment for more than 12-15 months). I'm going home tomorrow, and I'll actually be home for a few weeks. I need to post some pics once I get the place cleaned up towards the end of this weekend (my roommate and I should both be "home" at the place for a while now). It's been hard as hell to clean up knowing we'd both be gone the next week for work and/or vacation.anyone here have bars in their living room / dining room.

That's a good area for a single guy in his 20s. I'm just north of there on the edge of Uptown/Cityplace. My best friend lived in Downtown last summer. So nice to be able to walk everywhere down there, but parking can be a ***** for visitors.yep ..
Downtown Dallas.
Best living decision ever.
Haven't driven my car in the past 3 weeks except to the cleaners and grocery store.
so this is the sectional I got my my apartment.
My walls are going to be a light grey. There will be a nice 2 tone wood coffee table in front of the couch.
What kind of area rug should I get for it - color - etc.
best places to get area rugs that arent a fortune?
Where did you get this sectional from? I'm looking for something similar...Looks comfortable...how is it?
This is the rug I have and think it would work with http://www.flor.com/modern-mix-indigo.html
Where are the wires going?
I doubt you will find what you are looking for going across the room like that
